Launching three new Wilderness Society specialty coffee blends

Birmingham, AL, 6/7/10 – Alabama’s first certified Organic and Fair Trade coffee roasting company Higher Ground Roasters has partnered with the Wilderness Society to offer three new specialty coffee blends where 10% of the proceeds from each sale will be donated to the Wilderness Society.

The Wilderness Society has, since 1935, led the conservation movement in wilderness protection, writing and passing the landmark Wilderness Act and winning lasting protection for 109 million acres of Wilderness, including 56 million acres of spectacular lands in Alaska, eight million acres of fragile desert lands in California and millions more throughout the nation.
